I GOT STORIES TO SHARE
I'm storyteller Tamara Green, a keeper of present events and of times past. I tell all kinds of stories, but I specialize in African Stories, African-American Stories, Florida Stories, Folktales, and something I call, Citified Urban Tales. What is a Citified Urban Tale? It's a story about respect, success, and sharing in the neighborhood. I have told my stories at universities, festivals, schools, churches, reunions, book fairs, and conferences in and out of the state of Florida. I like to take my listeners on a roller coaster ride to a place called imagination. And I invite you to look, learn, share, and celebrate with me some amazing stories that will make you want to laugh, cry, and maybe even share your own stories.

I have just returned from a wonderful storytelling trip to Miami Florida! I was invited to perform for the Miami-Dade Public Library System. I met a lot of new friends and was blessed by the experience. I thank the MDPLS for the opportunity to spread the joy of storytelling to their community.

I have just returned from Fort Lauderdale Florida. I performed at the Davie/Cooper City library, the African-American Research Library and Cultural Center, and the Dania Beach library. The people were great, and I was well received. I thank Nicholas Sakhnovsky, and his team of the Broward County Library System for a well planned event. A special thanks to Alice for the good bacon and pastry.
